Tricentennial Celebration
Our state celebrates a long history filled with intelligent, brave women and men who persisted and learned how to thrive on the land. I hope we can do as well so 300 years from now our children’s children’s children will see us as we see those who came before us.
La Fiesta
Throughout the year, all over our state, in most of our small communities, there are fiestas. These fiestas celebrate harvest, planting, revolutions, victories, births, deaths and weddings. They give us a way to measure our year and connect with our friends. Fiestas give us a way to celebrate our lives.
